Description
Camrose County will perform a condition assessment of its roads and related assets and incorporate that new information in the current mapping and GIS systems at the County. A video data collection vehicle will drive each road in the County twice, collecting 3 camera perspectives each time to document the assets long the County road network. These video and picture files will be processed to create data files for each of the assets along the roadway, such as signs, culverts, guardrails, hydrants, sidewalks, road surfaces and the road network. The data files will include GPS information, condition information and specifics for each assets. This improved asset information will give Camrose County Councillors and top level management the tools to make accurate financial decisions.
