Description
The City of Montreal wants to improve energy efficiency in eight of its municipally owned and operated buildings. Thebuildings include recreational facilities, swimming pools, libraries and auditoriums. A goal is to reduce energyconsumption by at least 35 per cent. This reduction would result in significant cost savings for Montreal taxpayers. Thefeasibility study will evaluate new technologies, including the use of centralized computer controls, temperature andlightning controls by movement detectors to reduce energy consumption.
