Description
The Surface Water Management Strategy for the Municipality of Emerson-Franklin will provide insight into the flood and drought risks to Municipal assets through an in-depth investigation of the culvert assets and the water flow network throughout the Municipality. This project will provide flood-risk maps and a comprehensive management strategy for implementing cost-effective flood and drought risk reduction for Emerson-Franklin while not displacing the flood and drought risk on to neighbouring Municipalities. This project is part of a collaborative partnership with the Municipalities of Emerson-Franklin, Stuartburn, and Hanover to reduce flood and drought risk within three watersheds.
