Description
The Township will develop a cross-functional Asset Management Working Group and engage a consultingfirm to assist in growing the capacity, knowledge and value of Asset Management practices for themunicipality. The year-long project with begin by performing in-depth data gap analysis of existing assetrecords housed in the municipality’s comprehensive asset management software (CityWide). Through thisanalysis, the Township will work with consultants to develop a state of maturity report, and create and adopta strategic AM Policy.With a policy framework, new dedicated staffing resources will establish Condition Assessment Protocolsand data collection templates, to ensure the Township can begin filling the gaps in data that may exist. Thenew data collection processes will be deployed through the new Work Order Management system that istied directly to the database of asset information in CityWide. These works will ensure the Township hassufficient information to generate long-term financial strategies and capital plans.
