Description
The Town of Stratford will conduct a study to identify new wastewater–treatment–and–disposal systems andmanagement approaches. This study will help solve sustainable treatment and wastewater disposal problems byinvestigating new approaches used elsewhere in Canada and other countries, such as Localized Cluster Systems,Hybrid Collection Systems, STEP Systems, SDGS Systems, Mechanical Treatment Systems, Lagoon TreatmentSystems and Sand Filter Treatment Systems. The project will lead to the adoption of innovative policies and practices forthe unserviced area of the town and help ensure the sustainability of its groundwater supply.
