Description
The Rural Municipality of Buckland will improve its asset management practices through the following three activities:• Assess the conditions of the following municipal assets: bridges, grid roads, sand sealed roads, buildings and equipment;• Purchase and train staff on the new asset management software;• Asset Management training for municipal staff.By completing these activities, council and the community can be assured that the assets meet performance levels, are used to deliver the desired service in the long term and are managed for present and future users. This initiative will help deliver on the council’s vision for the community as a safe, liveable, sustainable and economically vibrant commmunity underpinned by well managed and maintained infrastructure assets
