Description
The Village of Pierceland will create and maintain an asset management program. The Village will develop Asset Management Plans, Policies, and Strategies. Northbound Planning will perform asset condition reporting to properly record all assets and ensure the collected data is accurate. The Village will utilize the PubWorks program to validate current data and provide training to staff.Once initial asset data has been created, various office staff will be assigned to continue updating information such as maintenance/repairs, purchase/sales of equipment etc. This will not only ensure assets are kept up to date moving forward but will assist administration and council with budgeting/forecasting and future capital planning. The project will impact roads, structures, underground infrastructure, equipment and municipal buildings
