Description
The Town of Trinity Bay North will compile a complete inventory of their major assets including linearassets, buildings, structures, and fleet. The inventory will include attribute data such as age, condition,and material. The information will be set up in spreadsheet format as well as within the GeographicalInformation System (GIS). The Town will prepare State of Infrastructure Reports to summarize andpresent the information in a format suitable for Council and the public. Renewal and replacement projectswill be prioritized through a risk assessment process involving Council and staff to support a preliminarycapital program. The Town’s Council and staff will also participate in a training session providing anoverview of asset management concepts and benefits and preparing the Town in drafting an assetmanagement policy to guide decisions around renewal and replacement of infrastructure.
