Description
This feasibility study will investigate innovative technologies in power monitoring, water distribution modeling andautomated data input for the Pickering/Ajax/Whitby/Oshawa/ Courtice water distribution system. The project will identifyopportunities to optimize energy use, by adopting a management system. That system will apply automated, optimizedoperation settings to shift energy loads and regulate water pumping during off–peak and on–peak hours. This will saveenergy and costs. Results will be reported in a way that clearly demonstrates the benefits of the approach and how it canbe applied in similar facilities.
