Description
The regional district of Alberni-Clayoquot will hire skilled consultants to assess and value its numerous
buildings and critical assets. The district will evaluate its assets to properly budget for their eventual
replacement or upgrade and to adequately insure against loss. Condition assessments and valuations will
play key roles in the foundation of the Asset Management Plans and will be used to determine the
required annual contribution by services to avoid additional future debt to maintain service levels. This
grant would assist in the completion of the missing information discovered during the asset management
process.
