Description
The Town of Jasper's proposed Municipal Asset Management project employs a three-pronged approach: Groundwater Modeling Investigation o Water Treatment (including supply)o Wastewater Collection GIS Gap Analysis o Water Distributiono Wastewater Collectiono Roadso Sidewalks Maintenance Management and Condition Inventory (MMCI) o Water Distributiono Wastewater Collectiono Roadso SidewalksThe Town will conduct a hydrogeological assessment of Jasper's aquifer, utilizing existing data on its three wells, to confirm the movement of contaminants away from the wells, thereby ensuring the high quality of the town's water supply.The Town will develop a GIS asset inventory/mapping system. This process underlies the development of an integrated asset management plan which is essential for planning upgrades, rehabilitations and replacements of all municipal assets. The Town will develop a Dashboard which integrates mapping, inventory and condition aspects of municipal assets to best allow information updates and overall asset management.
