Description
The Rural Community of Upper Mimarichi will establish a formal Asset Management Plan. Through thisimitative, the Community will develop an Asset Management Policy, a complete Asset Inventory, andconduct a Condition and Risk Assessment for all municipal assets estimating remaining life and currentreplacement cost. The assets include; land, equipment, buildings, and vehicles. In addition, a high-levelclimate vulnerability assessment, and a long-term financial plan will be developed.A workshop will be held with Council to identify priority services, municipal goals, and to develop policyobjectives that align with strategic priorities. This policy will provide the municipality with the informationneeded to manage assets for long-term financial sustainability, address future climate change adaptationchallenges, and meet the community vision.
