Description

This $53,700 GMEF funding towards a $107,600 study is the first practical application of the University of Guelph'sbiofiltration system technology. Primarily directed at Indoor Air Quality, with some energy consumption benefits, it willrejuvenate contaminated indoor air by passing it over a biological (green plants) surface to breakdown constituent toxinsinto benign substances. If successful, the replication potential is substantial in both municipal and commercial markets.
