Description
The Town of Duck Lake will document the current condition of its assets, map the locations of vital connections, and create an inspection process to improve the ability of future staff and Council to anticipate asset management planning. The Town will be surveying and assessing the condition of the following assets: water and sewer infrastructure, roads, buildings and equipment. In addition, an inspection and exercising of all the hydrants and valves will be completed to determine failures. Water system modelling will also be undertaken to enhance the asset management plans. The current Asset Management Plan and policy in place are based on an Australian asset management template. These documents do not create a clear picture of the current condition of the infrastructure for new staff or Council.
