Description
This project will include the Village of Blacks Harbour making improvements to its GIS system andincorporation into the daily work order system. Based on the work in 2017 and subsequent successes andchallenges with its AM program, the Village will share their story with other local municipalities.In 2017 and 2018, the Village of Blacks Harbour developed their first formal asset management plan. Theproject, funded by FCM, provided significant improvements to data collection, data quality, and the overallinfrastructure decision making process. Included in this project was the creation of a GIS system. TheMAMP 17409(31 pages)Village wants to keep the momentum going by improving the quality of their condition assessment data bydoing a condition assessment of the arena and also video inspections of key sewer mains.
