Description
The Municipality of Richmond will develop an Asset Management Policy and roadmap to guide assetmanagement implementation throughout the organization. The proposed project will also include preparingan asset inventory of all major assets (water distribution, sewer, storm water, and roads network as well amajor municipal-owned buildings and structures). Data will be presented in spreadsheet format and willalso be set up in a fully functional Desktop GIS with an easy-to-use web mapping application. Training willbe provided for staff in use of the data and the GIS system. State of Infrastructure Reports (SOIR) on lifeexpectancy, condition and replacement costs of each major asset group will be prepared.
