Description
The City of Cambridge will review its existing policy and prepare a new City of Cambridge Strategic Asset Management Policy, meeting all requirements as per Ontario Regulation 588/17: Asset Management Planning for Municipal Infrastructure (Regulation). The city will update and renew an existing Asset Management Plan and prepare a new Asset Management Plan to meet requirements of the Regulation. Under this project, the current existing 2013 Asset Management Plan for core assets (are water, wastewater (sanitary), storm, roads, bridges / large culverts) will be reviewed, updated and revised to address any gaps in order to comply with the Regulation. The Asset Management Plan will be completed for Phase 1 as per Regulation, and where possible (depending on available data and budget) for Phase 2 as per Regulation.The City will develop a multi-year roadmap for further advancement of the Asset Management Program. This roadmap will be based on a detailed assessment of the current Asset Management Program against the Regulation and international recognized Asset Management standards and benchmarks such as ISO 55000 and BSI PAS 55. The roadmap will outline key areas and timing for further advancement of the Asset Management Program.
