Description
The Municipality of Bifrost-Riverton will create a Strategic Asset Management (AM) Framework to identify the improvement steps to be followed. The Framework will include the creation of an Asset Managementpolicy. The framework will also include the preparation of an inventory of all assets owned, an assessmment of there conditons, the identification of levels of service for each asset class (road network, bridges andculverts, buildings, gas network, sewer network, and water network), and procedures for accomplishing these steps. The inventory will be uploaded to one central database. In addition, the municipality will provide training for key employees in the principles of asset management and the developed framework.
