Description
The City of Thunder Bay will purchase a capital planning asset management software to replace an older, outdated one. This new system, integrated with facilities maintenance and energy, will provide a full life cycle approach to sustainable capital planning for proper asset management. Through the use of the new software, the City will be able to add the basic inventory data for another asset class: its fleet.The purchase of the new software is a priority for the City to ensure the future stability of existing asset inventory data, to grow its asset inventory with new timely data, to provide better level of reporting, and to eliminate functional limitations and challenges with the current software. The City will work in close collaboration with the service provider to adapt the software solution to its needs and migrate the current asset management data within the new system.
