Description
The Municipality of Casselman is proposing a third-party asset management review for the current Asset Management Plan, dated March 2014. The updated Plan will be adapted to the present needs of the Municipality and will be a remarkable tool in building, operating, maintaining, renewing, replacing, disposing and funding municipal infrastructure. It will lead to more efficient service delivery and will lower costs. Also, it is important to note that the asset management review will respect the provincial requirements for municipal asset management planning (O.Reg. 588/17).This service delivery review and modernization opportunity will provide specific and actionable recommendations for cost savings and improved efficiencies. The Municipality will receive key information on the State of Local Infrastructure (inventory, life expectancy, replacement costs, conditions and recommended works) and desired Levels of Service (LOS) including time frames.An Asset Management Strategy with planned actions and an overview of risk assessments, leading torecommended works to be prioritized, will also be included. Finally, a financing strategy will be featured.
