Description
This project is a unique watershed initiative involving two adjacent townships and the Big Rideau Lake Association, anenvironmental organization. The aim is to determine the source of, and options for reducing, negative impacts on stormwater systems and surface water from two lakeside village communities. The study will analyze storm, waste andsurface water to identify sources of pollution and make recommendations about how to eliminate them. Data collectedfrom this study could be useful for similar townships and districts across the country.
