Description
The Rural Municipality of Hazel Dell No. 335 aims to create and maintain an asset management program. Our goal is to contract Northbound Planning to perform asset condition reporting through the RM so all assets are properly recorded and that the collected data is accurate. The RM will be utilizing the new PubWorks program to validate current data and provide training to staff. Once initial asset data has been created, various staff will be assigned to continue updating information such as maintenance/repairs, purchase/sales of equipment, etc. This will not only ensure assets are kept up to date moving forward but will assist administration and council with budgeting/forecasting and future capital planning.
