Description
The Squamish Nation has a strong ongoing initiative to develop asset records, management planning, and to operationalize asset management, making these activities everyday business. The project proposed by Squamish Nation will develop: an asset manager policy for presentation to Council; an asset management program encompassing asset management tools, key performance indicators, standard operating procedures (SOP) and identifying personnel roles in the program. The Squamish Nation will also provide training for its personnel and Council in the asset management program. These tools will be developed in close collaboration with Nation staff and Council members (as appropriate), through workshops.
