Description
Develop an inventory of the municipality's major assets including linear assets (roads, water distribution network, irrigation network, and storm network) and structures (buildings and treatment plant). Linear assets will be captured and set up in a GIS system. The data will be imported in a spreadsheet based template so that Preliminary State of Infrastructure Reports are generated for each asset group showing life expectancy, condition and replacement costs. Condition assessment will mainly be based on age. This project is the first step in implementing asset management planning for the Village of Slocan.
