Description
Strait Shores will improve and continue to develop its Asset Management Plan for the following assets:roads, potable water, sanitary and facilities. The Village will establish measurable target service levelsand performance measures to assess the gap between target levels and current service levels. TheVillage will improve the risk assessment by adding the impact of climate change on assets. Meanwhile,expanded inventory data for certain assets (sanitary) will be picked up and entered into the inventorytools (GIS and Excel tool). The Village will summarize the recommendations from the climate changevulnerability assessment and identify adaptation or mitigation measures for high-risk assets. The Villagewill perform a lifecycle analysis to determine the detailed investment requirements of the assets. TheVillage will develop a strategy to manage financial gaps based on current service levels versus targetservice levels. Finally, the Village will generate 5 and 10-year spending plans based on asset prioritiesMAMP 18016(31 pages)and future projects and present them in a summary document. The Village will refer to this summarydocument during annual budgeting.
