Description
The RM of Brokenhead, which includes the Local Urban District of Tyndall & Garson, will allocate the Asset Management team and staff to draft and establish a written Asset Management Policy and Program. The RM will document and consolidate information on municipal assets using existing information and staff knowledge to create a Basic Asset Registry (i.e. culverts, roads, water & sewer Lines, buildings, bridges, etc.). The RM will then analyze the assets in detail to update the asset properties (i.e. Life Cycle Cost, Level of Service.) which will also improve ongoing record keeping.
