Description
West Vancouver is studying the construction of a micro–hydro plant to economically generate green energy. The turbineequipment necessary for this project would be installed in conjunction with a new low head membrane filtration system totreat the Eagle Lake water supply. Harnessing energy from public water systems is an investment in sustainabledevelopment. These turbines would generate hydropower while reducing the use of costly pressure-reduction valves.
