Description
The Municipality of Saint–Damien–de–Buckland is seeking to improve the water quality of Lac Dion. Testing indicatesthat water quality has been affected by phosphorus and fecal coliform concentrations, in part owing to septictankinstallations. The study will evaluate collector and sewage treatment systems as alternatives to the conventionalapproaches such as aerated ponds, which are expensive for isolated small communities. A public consultation will takeplace.
