Description
Develop a storm water Asset Management Plan as the Town manages their storm water through overland drainage structures such as ditches, curbing, roads, and culverts. The Town would like to gain a better understanding of their existing drainage assets by collecting survey data on their overland drainage system and developing a model of the system performance during a storm event. This model would allow the Town to understand how its assets are performing and assist in developing a maintenance and improvement plan. Another activity includes compiling the Town’s information on localized drainage concerns and developing a system for prioritizing the allocation of funds to address the concerns. This system will help the Town efficiently budget for correction of existing and future concerns as they are raised by residents and Town staff. The information gathered to develop the model will be incorporated into the Town’s existing asset management documents.
