Description
The City of City of Côte-Saint-Luc will contract LAS Sidewalk Assessment Service gather data on the condition of 120 km of sidewaks within its jurisdiction. The LAS Sidewalk Assessment Service is able to detect and analyze defected sidewalks in an effective and efficient way using 3D photoimaging technology. This technology is capable of collecting data while traveling with pedestrian traffic. Once the data is obtained, it is loaded into a web-based GIS data management that will process and visualize the environment design for the surface condition monitoring. The pavement interface will provide methods and visual tools to help the City of Côte Saint-Luc make proper decisions and strategies regarding the improvement of defected sidewalks in the city.
