Description
The Smoky River Region has taken a collaborative approach to asset management from the start. This has resulted in unified asset management documentation, a standardized and linked asset management system, and a strong culture of knowledge sharing throughout the region.The Municipal District of Smoky River No. 130 will consolidate a basic asset inventory, develop an Asset Management Roadmap, and develop a public-facing capital project map to increase knowledge sharing. By completing this project together, the municipalities will achieve the following tangible benefits:• Establish a standard and a strong collaborative framework for other regions to follow;• Economies of scale;• Continued congruency of Asset Management programs.
