Description
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo will perform asset condition assessments and collect asset attribute data on listed building facilities. The Regional Municipality will review available asset records and interview knowledgeable facility staff responsible for major systems to determine maintenance history, relevant systems data, and background information. A walk-through of each building will by completed by visually observing the major building systems and assessing representative conditions. The Regional Municipality will produce a condition assessment and maintenance program report, which will be used to update the municipal assets registry data. The information obtained will be useful for decision-making and reliability improvement of assets to: Prioritize renovations, repairs and upgrades; Estimate cost of repair work within recommended time-line; Support building regulatory compliance; Provide long-term forecast of asset renewal costs and timing; Provide condition ratings for state of infrastructure reporting
