Capital Asset Management Plan - Village of St. Martins

The Village of St. Martins will develop a Capital Asset Management Plan for municipal assets such as municipal buildings, storm water piping, sidewalks, road surface, and fleet and machinery. The Plan will provide a condition assessment methodology for the Village's Core Assets, including of roads, sidewalks, storm pipes, municipal buildings and municipal vehicles. The Village will draft a governance policy which will contain a vision statement, policies, procedures, and roles and responsibility for municipal staff. The Village will review the services provided to residents with the intention of upholding or surpassing the current standard of service. In addition, the Village will identify the infrastructure risks associated with core assets. This is expected to identify community vulnerabilities in order to help prioritize the repair/replacement of assets. MAMP 15973 (28 pages) The Village will work with a consultant to conduct a high-level evaluation of climate hazards and expected climate impacts on core community assets. This is also expected to help prioritize the repair/replacement of core assets. Finally, the Village of St. Martins will prepare a priority list and complete a plan for the expected financial contributions necessary for the required replacement and repair of assets over the next 50 years.
