Description
The Village of Fundy Albert will develop and improve its Asset Management Plan. The Village will establish target service levels and their performance measures in order to assess the gap between target levels and current service levels. It will reassess the risk associated with providing services to residents to include the impact of climate change related to specific assets. Recommendations stemming from the ongoing climate change adaptation plan will be summarized. Adaptation or mitigation measures for high risk assets will also be identified. Life cycle analysis will be performed to determine the detailed investment requirements of the assets. Fundy Albert will develop a strategy to manage the financial gaps based on the findings of current service levels versus target service levels. Finally the Village will generate 5 and 10 year spending plans based on asset priorities and future projects. These spending plans will be presented in a summary document to be frequently referenced and utilized during the annual budgeting process.
