Description
The Town of Porgual Cove-St.Philip’s will implement CityWide Asset Manager/GIS Viewer Software. Theimplementation of asset management software will be critical in consolidating the asset inventory andidentifying gaps in current asset data. The project will represent all data classes: roads, water andwastewater, buildings, equipment, vehicles and will subdivide the information in these classes intosubcomponents. The intent is to breakdown what the Town already has into more manageable segmentsto better identify components and plan for repair and replacement accordingly.Improving overall asset data will lead to more data driven decisions on asset maintenance and throughoutthe budgeting process. The software will be a critical piece in better identifying data gaps and improvingthe overall program. Further, the training and overall use of the software will lead to greater adoption ofAM across the organization.
