Description
Under this project the City of St. Catharines will complete a condition assessment of each of its roads and complete an inventory of its traffic sign assets; it will also acquire software to house the data that will support decision making. The project includes: inspection of the pavement and other road attributes; update the existing road database; establish a new traffic sign inventory; and make recommendations for rehabilitation based on available funding limits utilizing pavement management software.The goal of the project is to provide resources to City staff and Council to allow informed decision-making on the City’s road assets, in order to deliver value for money while best serving the public’s needs.
