Description
The project is to install Multi Use Path in the City of Thompson to promote the means of active transportation. City of Thompson has started the initiative to install Multi Use Path in 2014 and since then City has laid 7 KM of Multi Use Path. People use Multi Use Paths for biking to work and Schools. This has promoted walking and biking in the community and is one of the active means of Transportation in the community reducing the GHG gases being generated from vehicles. This will also provide the better health and well being to City residents and will cut down on air pollution and noise pollution.
