Description
The Township of Rideau Lakes will develop an Asset Management Policy, as well as implement asset management software, and undertake training to fulfill provincial requirement. These activities will assist the Township in identifying staff roles and responsibilities, as well as improving reporting and forecasting abilities with the software module. The Township will conduct asset management training to assist overall staff knowledge in asset management and to ensure buy-in of the program. This new capacity will ensure that the Township is building an effective asset management program that will assist with making better informed infrastructure investment decisions. All township owned assets will be impacted by this software including roads (457km), bridges, culverts, buildings, harbours, storm water systems, sidewalks, signs, street lights, vehicles, equipment, etc. The township does not have water/waste water systems.
