Description
Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA) staff will continue to partner with York Region to expand asset management knowledge and improve consistency in our methodology. Key activities include: Develop and receive endorsement by the Board for level of service standards; Complete the asset inventory; Leverage expert help in determining asset conditions of our most significant building assets; Begin the development of the financial framework that will identify the infrastructure gap. LSRCA use external expert help consultant like AW Hooker, for example, to better understand the asset conditions of major buildings, articulate the infrastructure gap to maintain these assets and develop a short and long-term funding strategy with municipal partners. LSRCA’s municipal partner, York Region, will help to build internal capacity for a sustainable approach to asset management over the long term.
