Description

The Township of Killaloe, Hagarty & Richards will develop an Asset Management Plan, complete Data Work on Roads (approximately 300 kilometres) and complete Condition Assessments for its buildings. The development of the AM Plan and enhancements to asset data will allow the Township to gain an advanced understanding of its assets’ performance and effectively plan for future maintenance based on data driven decisions. The AM Plan will be critical in complying with provincial regulations and enhancing the overall understanding of AM program. Further, the collection of condition information and enhancements to the Township’s data will be a critical piece in continuing to advance its asset data. The project will implement Citywide Route Patrol Asset Collector and improve the linking between GIS shapefiles and Asset Manager Inventory. Road data on approximately 300 kilometres of roads (condition, deficiencies) will be collected using the Citywide Route Patrol Mobile application. Route Patrol allows the Works departments to track road deficiencies, create service requests and work orders. GIS features (roads) are linked to Asset Manager roads inventory as part of the data work being done (working with County to provide shapefiles, linking roads features in shapefiles to AM inventory in Citywide) and the Citywide application is used to determine MMS conditions of roads in the AM Inventory. Asset Collector within Citywide will be used to collect and record new assets into Citywide Asset Manager inventory using the Citywide Mobile application. Both functionalities in Citywide will improve the collection of asset conditions, new assets and create work orders to address deficiencies digitally.
