Description
The Village of Caronport, through this initiative, will improve its organizational competencies in the areas of: policy and governance; people and leadership; and data and information. The Village will establish anasset management committee, develop an Asset Management Policy, and introduce other core governance tools. The Village will also inspect and assess the community’s most critical assets (i.e. waterworks, wastewater, and primary transportation assets). This inspection activity will provide the data and information foundation for the Village’s asset management initiative and the basis to advance theplanning and decision-making process in order to improve the quality of life for the citizens and to createimproved community value for the ratepayers.
