Description
The Town of Richibucto will improve and continue the development of the Town's Asset Management Plan. The scope of work includes establishing target service levels and performance measures in order to assess the gap between target and current service levels. Richibucto will revise the risk assessment to include the impact of climate change and will assemble extensive inventory data for certain assets such as pipe elevations for the sewer system and then enter this data into inventory tools (GIS and Excel). The town will additionally summarize recommendations from the climate change vulnerability assessment to better relate to assets. Richibucto will identify adaptation or mitigation measures for high-risk assets.
The Town of Richibucto will then conduct a life cycle analysis to determine the investment requirements of the assets and will develop a strategy to manage the financial gaps based on the findings of current versus target service levels. Finally, Richibucto will generate 5- and 10-year spending plans based on asset priorities as well as future projects which will be included in a summary document to be frequently referenced and utilized during annual budgeting.
