Description
Through this project, the Town of Bay Bulls will develop a watershed model, conduct a climate changevulnerability assessment, establish a Level of Service review, and culminate in an asset managementassessment Report. The Report will integrate the project outputs into strategic asset managementrecommendations around climate conscious decision metrics – formatted with an action matrix / livingdocument component.This project proposes to A) build upon the existing asset inventory, GIS map and SOTI by conducting aninventory of the Town’s ‘green’ (or natural) assets via completion of a comprehensive watershed modelusing continuous modelling protocols; B) conduct a climate vulnerability assessment and level of servicereview with the Town and the residents targeting identification of priority projects using innovativestrategies and watershed management technologies; C) provide a final project report which interprets andintegrates the data collected by the project activities towards an eco-asset management approach - withthe ultimate goal being a climate-conscious asset management decision framework.
