Description
The Village of McBride will asses the condition of four municipal buildings and their components (e.g. mechanical, electrical, HVAC, interior finishes, roof, etc.); this will identify any gaps in capital investment needs for the buildings class of assets. The Village will determine the changes required existing job descriptions necessary because of the integration of the four core elements (people, information, assets, and finances) necessary for sustainable asset management practices, service delivery and long term financial planning. The collection of condition assessment information on our buildings is the first step in asset management practices, and will be used to initiate our Asset Management program. The assessing of our current state, is an essential component for bringing our community into alignment with our asset management strategy, and fundamental for our long-term financial plan.
