Description
The Village of Macoun will complete a professional condition assessment of the Village's water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and road infrastructure. The Village’s assessment will review the operation of each system, will identify priority maintenance, planning and growth projections, and will include short, medium, and long term capital planning. The Village will create a GIS database by creating shapefiles for each asset class which will include the geolocation and condition assessment data for each asset. The Village will also provide GIS training for internal staff. The resulting GIS database will provide the critical information needed to achieve the community goals to ensure efficient operation of existing and future infrastructure.
