Description
The Township of Hornepayne will develop an effective strategy outlining the framework by which the objectives of the Asset Management Policy will be attained. The Township will use age-based deterioration to predict future asset conditions and estimate related funding requirements with regard to infrastructure upgrades, maintenance and/or replacement. The initial focus will be on core assets such as water/wastewater, roads, bridges and culverts, and vehicles/equipment. The Township will work towards long-term strategic financial planning for efficient management of the municipality's tangible assets in order to achieve sustainable infrastructure replacement.
