Description
North Salt Spring Waterworks District (NSSWD) will develop tools to improve decision making and prioritize capital improvements. This will maximize the value of each public dollar spent on water infrastructure and planning. The District will develop an asset management strategy which will include an asset management policy, a financial analysis of NSSWD’s asset inventory, an assessment of levels of service and risks, recommendations for future actions, and performance measurement criteria so that NSSWD can gauge progress. The asset management roadmap will include a series of actions that can be take over the next three years to formalize NSSWD’s asset management processes and provide improved continuity.
