Description
The Rural Municipality of Milton No. 292 will develop an Asset Management Policy and a corresponding Asset Management Strategy. The asset management analysis follows with development of performance measures, a condition assessment, and a life-cycle analysis. The project will deliver a long-range infrastructure sustainability plan that will determine optimal funding allocations and performance levels (i.e. Level of Service (LOS). A short-range detailed works program will be developed in line with meeting these targets. The major asset group is gravel roads. The analysis will also include bridges and bridge-file culverts, facilities, municipal utilities, and fleet. This approach is based on best practices recognized through the national and international research and scientific community. The approach applies a database application to provide continued support for Asset Management by managing condition data and work history, reporting the on-going state of the infrastructure (Level of Service), and managing the program strategy.
