Description
In order to work towards compliance with provincial regulations, the Town of Smith Falls will undertake the development of an asset management policy, implement an asset management software and provide training to its staff. The Town will identify its staff roles and responsibilities, as well as improve the reporting and forecasting abilities with the software modules. Further, the asset management training will assist overall staff knowledge in asset management and ensure buy-in of the Town program. This new capacity will ensure that the Town is building an effective asset management program that will assist with making better informed infrastructure investment decisions.
