Description
The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake will collect objective empirical (sensor-based) data to establish a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) for Town roadways in compliance with Reg 588/17 - AMP for Municipal Infrastructure. Data collection will be conducted by a contractor using 3D cameras, surface radar and both still and video imaging. Quantitative analysis of the data will be available through a custom GIS-based program for ready visualization, management and ready retrieval/transfer of data. This custom software includes embedded tools to facilitate goal-setting, budgeting and asset management planning by both staff and the Town's Financial Advisory Committee.
